StoneKrete Flooring offers a vibrant and contemporary finish that closely resembles polished terrazzo flooring. This system is ideal for situations where a value-engineered equivalent to a terrazzo finish is required. StoneKrete may be installed for reduced expense and within shorter timeframes when compared to traditional polished terrazzo flooring. StoneKrete systems are available in six designer-curated blends with the capability to easily adjust colors and sheen. Blends are infinitely customizable and can incorporate a host of reflective and translucent aggregates to simulate a wide range of decorative terrazzo finishes.

SYSTEM DESIGN

The StoneKrete Flooring System can be built in a variety of ways to suit both the requirements of the environment and the parameters of the installation. In general, the system will always consist of a primer, specialized StoneKrete aggregate broadcast, grout coat, build coat, and topcoat.

Key to the StoneKrete system is zero-VOC broadcast coat. This material features unique “flat-flake” technology that pulls decorative broadcast media to the substrate, replicating the look of actual polished terrazzo while highlighting reflective metallic and translucent flakes. The system is then grouted with a refined 100% solids water-clear resin and finished with a hi-wear urethane in either a semi-gloss or satin finish.
